“I thank all the fore-runners, the colleagues and all the people associated with this institute directly and indirectly for its efforts and success stories from its establishment”
Nepal Banepa Polytechnic Institute is one of the constituent schools opened under CTEVT, the technical wing of Education, Science and Technology Ministry of Nepal Government. Established in 2065 B.S. in Banepa, with a goal of providing technical education and vocational training to the youths of Nepal in multi-polytechnic basis (focusing mainly on engineering sector accompanied by hospitality sector). Located in Banepa, the largest town in Kavrepalanchok district and in a close vicinity of Kathmandu valley, this institute is confined within 106 ropani land with modern and finest physical infrastructures typical of other constituent institutes of CTEVT. The primary objective of this institute is to produce basic and middle level workforce to meet the needs of the nation. This institute is also trying to promote personality development of the students through extra-curricular, creative and innovative activities.
This institute has been running different programs in proficiency level, called Diploma level, including Civil, Electrical, Geomatics and Information Technology in Engineering sector as well as Hotel Management in Hospitality sector. Various short-term training courses related to the engineering and tourism & hospitality sectors are also being conducted in this institute. We are also happy to inform that the special scholarship program in Diploma in Hotel Management and Diploma in Electrical Engineering is also being run. All the programs aim to support our effort to address the unemployment problem of the country; and a linkage between the technical manpower and their supply for Nepal government in the needs of overall development of the country. We have also cooperated with the local bodies to produce skilled manpower for their own supply; and the latest example of it is the launching of a professional courses on Building Electrician and Cook, a collaboration with Banepa Municipality.
We have served our country in three different ways: first by providing the reserve quota to the students from backward communities under some categories, second by producing the semi-skilled manpower in the job market and third by supplying them in the development activities through different agencies, both private and government. The manpower produced by us is our saga of success who are busy in their professional deeds today at home and abroad. From Kathmandu to the remote districts in Nepal to different countries of the East and the West, we see our students standing on their own feet, propped by the base of this institute.
We are proud of our team of well-studied and well-deserved workers in the faculties. Some of them have served in the profession over ten years. Though new in the profession, they have shown their expertise on their own. Finally, I thank all the fore-runners, the colleagues and all the people associated with this institute directly and indirectly for its efforts and success stories from its establishment.
With best regards
